I Meant To

My life's been full of meant tos-

Some were good and some bad

I've meant to write letters-

Some I wish I never had.



The bills I meant to pay

Are often over due

The little "thank yous" that I owe

Fall by the wayside too.



The friends I meant to call on

So often move away,

And if you can believe it,

This is another "meant to" day!
